Dr. Maykin Lerttamrab was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Oregon in 2016 and his Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2009. He regularly performed throughout the U.S. and won the first prize in several competitions, such as the Young Artist Competition at Oregon State, the Phi Beta Scholarship Competition, MTNA Northwest Division Competition, and the University of Oregon Concerto Competition. His teachers included Dr. Claire Wachter, who was the creator of The Virtual Piano Pedagogue, Dr. Dean Kramer, who won the first prize of the First National Chopin Competition and was one of the students of the famous Vladimir Horowitz, Mrs. Tan Mong Joo, and Mr. Andre-Michel Schub, who won the first prize of Naumburg Competition, gold medal at the Van Cliburn International Competition, and was one of the students of the well-known Rudolf Serkin. Dr. Lerttamrab is currently a member of the piano faculty of the Duriyasilp College of Music at Payap University.
